About the
Country/City
American TESOL Institute (ATI) is an internationally recognized
teacher training organization with educational quality control
mechanisms that ensure ATI trained English teachers are of the
highest standard. They have been training students to teach
English overseas since 2002. ATI offers TESOL courses to suit
every individual’s learning needs and objectives. The training
helps the students to build a solid language teaching foundation.
The ATI TESOL Certification Program is interactive and involve
students in a broad range of practical activities. Trainees
quickly improve their teaching skills and confidence to face a
class in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. The American TESOL
in-Class program is of 120 hours length that includes three
certifications, combining all the significant teaching mechanisms,
methodologies, modes of approach and articulation made more
interesting with audio-visual inputs.
The name Nepal ushers in a whole host of frames that are shot in
colour, blessed with a mystic divinity and impregnated with
adventures that lurk under an apparent composure. Nepal packs in
abundance culture, religion, wildlife and mountains. Nepal can be
perceived through its stunning views of the Himalayas; one can
feel the warmth of this country as its regales in countless
festivals round the year; the freshness of the forests and
national parks that swarm with wildlife can almost be inhaled; the
murmurs of the pilgrims and chants resound in every corner of the
temples and shrines that are spread all over the cities and
villages of Nepal; the real taste of Nepal can be enjoyed through
trekking and hiking – the activity that unfolds the hidden
treasure of the naturally endowed Nepal. In a true sense, Nepal is
a celebration of senses. Therefore, a TESOL Program set by ATI in
the birthplace of Buddha not only enhances teaching skills but
also enlightens the ESL teacher with its nature’s bounty and
cultural diversity.
The capital of Nepal, Kathmandu brims over with life. It is the
city of temples of historic and artistic value. But the city is
not archaic in life style. Kathmandu lives very much in the present
and provides its visitors with all the modern-day comfort and
amenities that are considered basic. A non-Asian visitor would be
fervent to explore the streets of Kathmandu lavished with ancient
architectures, temples, handicrafts, artifacts, antiques and a
hoard of similar other exotic stuff. The museums and royal palaces
bring alive the fading grandeur of the monarchy. And, on a
clear-sky day, it is also a good idea to relax and sit back to
enjoy the Himalayas that pervade the skyline of Kathmandu. No place
can be more appropriate than Kathmandu to host a TESOL Program as
the city has the quality to balance the classroom rigour with its
psychedelic vitality of life. If traveling and studying TEFL
followed by teaching, as an ESL professional, are there in your
itinerary, Nepal is the perfect destination for you.
