Why Teach Abroad

Why would anyone want to teach abroad? For the exciting new experience of course! And there’s always the opportunity to travel in the country where you are teaching or in the neighboring areas. It’s a great way to learn about another culture, about another community—their way of life, their customs and traditions, their festivals and their food habits. You get valuable work experience and a decent salary. Overall, it’s an unforgettable experience. That’s why ESL and EFL teaching jobs are in such great demand in many parts of the world.

Travel is the best educator. Not many people have the opportunity to move beyond their locality into a world that is markedly different and make a difference not only to your life but the lives of people who you teach. The EFL/ESL teaching job gives you this opportunity and the experience is more rewarding than any monetary gain. Being just a traveler passing through a place is vastly different from living in a unfamiliar community and imbibing their culture, tradition and ways of life and to top it all to be accepted as one of their own since teachers all over the world are treated with love and respect. The ESL job can offer you a break from the mundane, complacent and run of the mill everyday life to an exciting exploration of people, language, food and culture. You will help your students learn the skills of English while they in turn will enrich your life through this experience. Any travel abroad is expensive and most cannot afford it but being an English language teacher you earn enough to take care of your travel expences.

The course content was appropriate and useful. The online trainers were competent and useful. The best thing about the course was the young learner and learning Vs acquisition section. The thing that the course needs improvement is the format of the assignment. I had a good experience while doing this course.
